Oscar, Emily and the Giant

Directed by Don Fleckser, this family-friendly musical chronicles young Oscar Wilde's attempts to save his sister Emily from the clutches of a selfish giant. It's written by Joshua Richardson and produced by Stephanie Demas, the duo responsible for P & J: The Original Mock Musical, which won the top production and funniest show prizes at last year's Fringe. Ironically, P & J had entered the festival with little fanfare and no great expectations. But, of course, unearthing a little theatre gem remains one of the sweet surprises attached to the Fringe experience.
